Thanks to the two extremely powerful electric motors, it provides anincredible total output of 6640 W. This scooter’s acceleration is similar to the acceleration of a Tesla electric car. The great performance requires a big mileage and this is another area where the Storm excels. It offers a stunningrange of 130 km! Also, this is the first Dualtron model to come with a newreplaceable batterythat simplifies carrying and charging it. To put it simply, it is a Dualtron and this name speaks for itself among electromobility enthusiasts.
Body, design and equipment
The scooter offers modern design and perfect build quality you will appreciate while making your daily trips. The Dualtron Storm also comes with a brand new and reworked frame designed to provide maximum durability and simple maintenance. To ensure maximum durability and safety, it is made of 6082-T6, a specially wrought aluminum that is similar to the one used in aircraft. The wheel shafts are made of SCM440, a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with carbon admixture. Quality materials and precise workmanship give this scooter the rigidity necessary to ensure rider’s safety. Themaintenance-free and durable elastomeric suspension, 11-inch, air-filled tubeless tiresand comfortable ergonomic grips all contribute to your riding comfort. Other improvements include the new electronic cooling, reinforced design of the steering column’s folding mechanism featuring a dual clamp and new motors that can be disconnected from the cables directly in the wheel hub for easier removal of wheels. You can also fold the handlebars, which makes the scooter even more compact and allows loading it into a trunk of a standard car without problems. Do not forget the newly addedfootrest at the rear, the built-in electric horn and the redesigned and backlit combined switch on the handlebars. Now you can see why the Dualtron Storm represents the pinnacle of electric scooters. Like all Dualtron scooters, it is equipped with a large and easy-to-read EYE display manufactured in-house by Minimotors.The display shows all important data, such as speed, current gear, daily kilometers travelled (TRIP), total kilometers travelled (ODO) and the current battery level.Thanks to its high brightness level, the display stays legible even in adverse weather conditions. The scooter’s power is controlled by a popular finger lever that can also be used to operate cruise control. You can also connect the display to a fingerprint reader so that only you can unlock your scooter.

It features a new, redesigned frame characterized by higher rigidity and durability for safer riding even at maximum speeds. Therevolutionary elastomeric suspension at the front and rearwill make sure your ride is comfortable! This is a proven suspension system used in almost every model of the Dualtron series. If the suspension seems too stiff or too soft to you,its stiffness can be easily adjusted in three stepsor you can simply choose from other five cartridges offering various elastomer stiffness. This suspension type requires zero maintenance and excels in high reliability. The Dualtron Storm is supplied withdual, fully hydraulic brakeswith 150 mm braking discs giving you an incredible and smoothly delivered braking power and reliability. Combined with the electronic brake, you can be sure that you will always brake to a stop safely even at higher speeds. You will certainly appreciate therecuperative charging option, which returns a portion of the energy back to your battery. Another important safety element is theelectronic ABS preventing wheel locking when braking heavily. It goes without saying that safety requires proper lighting. Thedual LED front light, rear lights, brake lights and turn signalslocated at the back on the foot rest provide you with better visibility and safety you need in an urban environment, particularly during reduced visibility. The scooter also offers the option to activate the so-called“Kick-start” feature preventing any unwanted start upand you can even reduce the scooter’s brutal power by using ECO button or by selecting a lower gear on the display. The functional fenders are a matter of fact. Meaning, should an unexpected rain shower catch you by surprise you do not have to worry about bad weather or your clothes getting dirty by splashing water. The easy-to-maintain step-on anti-skid surface preventing the rider from slipping in bad weather or extreme situation comes as a bonus.
Power and range
Every adrenaline enthusiast will surely appreciatethe scooter’s fabulous power and range! It is basically yourpersonal rocket on wheels. You can be sure that the two BLDC motors providing6640 W powerwill make you theking of the mountainswithout feeling any speed reduction when going up the hill. Add to them the extremely durable and huge LG 72V 31.5Ah removable battery giving you an amazingrange of up to 130 km, and you and your scooter will be ready for long and trouble-free rides even in the most demanding environment! A range like that will give you the freedom to ride without having to worry about where to recharge your battery.The two charging ports supporting supercharging are located in the top board of the step-on platform and are equipped with protective caps preventing dirt from entering inside.The battery does not suffer from any undesirable memory effect, which is why it will last many years, subject to proper charging and maintenance! Combined with a dual 40 A control unit made in-house by Minimotors and installed in the rear footrest for better cooling, the scooter allows the rider to ride atspeeds of up to 100 km/h(depending on the rider’s weight, outside temperature and terrain).
Use and practicality
Given its solid structure and unbelievable performance, this is a very versatile scooteraimed mostly at adrenaline enthusiasts. Thanks to its2x2 drive, the Dualtron Storm can handle terrain and even a very steep climb. However, it will feel best on the road. You do not have to worry about your scooter giving up on you on a longer trip. With its11-inch and 100 mm wide tubeless tires, the Storm will provide you with excellent comfort, traction and safety. The tubeless wheels significantly reduce the risk of getting a flat tire and allow easy repair in the event of tire damage. The tires are easily replaceable thanks to the modular structure of the wheels and detachable cables. You will love the verycomfortable chassis, which you will be able to use both on cobblestones and on field roads. Despite the scooter’s versatility, itsweight of about 46 kgmay be a limiting factor for some riders as it is not that easy to carry this scooter or load it into a car trunk. Likewise, the scooter’s performance and robust design resulted in poorer compactness, meaning you will have difficulty taking it with you inside a restaurant and will have to lock it outside like a bicycle. With its size it still fits inside the trunk of a normal car, but do not expect much space left in it.However, this is one of the best most sophisticated scooters out there.
